Our purpose shall be the preservation and protection of life and property. We will respond anytime to help the public in any emergency and aid as requested. We have been serving our communities by responding to emergency calls for over 50 years. We are supported by generous donations of time and money from people throughout the Cataula, Fortson, and Midland communities. We are always looking for more people to join us in our efforts to keep our community safe and healthy. Learn more below!
We love our volunteers who generously donate their time to keep our community safe. We have over 30 volunteer firefighters at any given point manning two stations and 9 trucks with another station coming soon.
Our volunteers are everyday people like you who come together to protect the safety of their neighbors. There’s a role for everyone to play whether you’re 18 or older. Firefighters are able to participate in the Georgia Firefighters Pension Fund as long as they meet yearly criteria. The role you can play as a volunteer may be more important than you think.
